    Activated Charcoal Powder (Coconut)

    DESCRIPTION:

Activated Charcoal is produced from coconut shells through a chemical-free, steam activation process that produces a food-grade product safe for internal and external use.  This product is sold as a powder in a 4-ounce bottle and is perfect to add to your first aid kit.

This product is certified Kosher by Kosher Certification Services.

    CONTAINS:

Love and activated charcoal from coconut shells.

    COMMON USES:

Charcoal is used to absorb toxins topically and internally.  When used topically on infections, the dry powder may be used, or slightly wetted and applied to the affected area.  Internally, charcoal is used for overdoses or to absorb toxins that have been ingested, to whiten teeth during brushing, aid in overall health, and many other uses. Take away from medications to avoid interactions.

    PROPERTIES:

    Absorbing, calming, drying, and soothing.

    HOW TO USE:

Topical – Apply dry or slightly wetted (with water) charcoal directly on the affected area and wrap with a cloth.  Allow to dry and absorb toxins from the skin or a wound.  Remove when dry, and reapply as needed.  Heat may be applied atop the wrap for infections to speed the healing process.  If using heat, apply heat for no more than 20 minutes with equal rest between uses.

Internal – May place into caps and take 2 caps daily.  Discontinue use 2 weeks prior to surgery and do not take internally at the same time other medications are taken as charcoal's main action is to absorb.  If medications are present, charcoal may absorb the medications and eliminate or extend the time the medications are in your system.

Oral – Charcoal is safe to use orally.  Simply put a small amount on a toothbrush and brush teeth to remove stains and whiten teeth.  Using a small amount of charcoal, apply it directly to mouth sores and allow to dry, repeating as necessary.

    Children – Safe for children.

  • Anti-fungal Essential Oil Blend
    Quick shop

    Safe for:

    Aromatic TopicalInternalOral Children

    Anti-Fungal Essential Oil Blend

Love & the organic essential oils of Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree), and Origanum vulgare (oregano).

    DESCRIPTION:

Our Anti-fungal Essential Oil Blend is formulated to kill fungi on contact.  This undiluted blend is concentrated and will most likely require dilution with a carrier oil (see caution notes below), however, in moist, dark areas on the body, the goal is to dry out the fungus so a carrier oil would not be recommended for that application.  Apply this blend using a cotton swab so that your fingers do not carry the strong oregano scent all day long.  This product comes in a 15 mL amber glass Euro bottle.

All Wellness Warrior products are organic.

    COMMON USES:

This blend is fantastic to fight fungal infections like athlete's foot, candida, MRSA, ringworm, skin tags, and warts (planters and vaginal - even if considered viral), to name just a few!  Toenail fungus can be embarrassing and leave your lower digits feeling crowded in socks all summer long.  Worry no longer!  Our anti-fungal blend is specifically made to help your toenails look healthy and beautiful so you can show them off!  Use this blend to alleviate fungi in your body.

    HOW TO USE:

Aromatic - Inhale directly by cupping your hands around an open bottle and breathe in deeply through your nose.  Not recommended for use in a diffuser (it is very difficult to clean/remove oregano from a diffuser).

Topical - Directly apply 1 drop of oil directly to the area of concern or use the roller bottle to apply to the area of concern.  Please test on a small area of skin for first use. See CAUTION below. Most fungal infections occur in moist, dark areas of the body and therefore, it is not recommended to use a carrier oil in these places because you are only adding moisture to an area that needs to be dried out; instead, apply directly with a cotton swab.

Internal 1-4 drops in a capsule; take with full glass of water.

Oral - Apply oil directly to a cotton swab and rub on the affected area inside the mouth.

Children - Dilution is strongly recommended. Please refer to our Wellness Warrior Essential Oil Dosing Guide.  Professional consultation recommended for this oil blend with children.

    CAUTION:

Melaleuca and oregano both are "hot" oils and may cause burning to the skin if used undiluted. If dilution is needed, simply add a drop of oil to 1 tablespoon of jojoba or coconut oil and rub on the affected area (avoid a carrier oil if the affected area is already moist).  Don't have a carrier oil to use?  Consider purchasing our organic carrier oils!  Please wash your hands when finished with soap and water.  Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. And, as always, keep out of children's reach.

    Anti-Inflammatory Herbal Tea

    DESCRIPTION:

This anti-inflammatory herbal tea blend is specifically designed to target joint inflammation.  This product is best when used daily to provide a long-term reduction in the inflammatory process.  This product is available in an 8 oz tin container.  Serving Size: 60 servings

All Wellness Warrior products are organic.

White willow bark is imported from Croatia and is certified Kosher by Kosher Certification Services.  Certified organic by the USDA and QAI, Inc.

Cinnamon is certified organic by the USDA and Oregon Tilth.

    CONTAINS:

Love and the organic herbs Salix alba (white willow bark), & Cinnamomum burmanii (cinnamon).

    COMMON USES:

Anti-inflammatory herbal tea is one of our most popular items among police and firefighters as it's a great substitute for the common medicine-cabinet pharmaceuticals that are grabbed many times to subdue minor aches and arthritic-like pains.

    PROPERTIES:

    Analgesic, anti-inflammatory.

    HOW TO USE:

Internal – Shake the container well as the cinnamon is powdered and the white willow bark is in shredded bark form.  Place 1/2 tsp. of the loose tea in 8 oz of hot water and cover for 12 minutes.  Strain the herb and drink the tea when cooled to a safe temperature.  Safe to take daily.

For added benefit, consider placing the tea in a strainer already in the tea cup or a stainless tea ball.  Most of the cinnamon will dissolve but the white willow bark will need to be extracted.  Using the strainer in advance avoids having to strain the tea once made.

    CAUTION:

Do not expose children to this product without direct medical consultation.  This product contains salicylate, which is a well known anti-inflammatory property contained in certain herbs.

WARNING: Use is cautioned in persons with sensitivity to aspirin or other salicylate-containing drugs, & persons with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD).

From the Author ~ Three examples of how I've used these remedies ~

A friend called me one day and said, “Can you help? My mom just cut off her thumb.” I've learned that the best thing to do when I get a call like this is to ask more questions, so I did. She hadn't cut off her entire thumb, just a large chunk of skin and part of the nail. (If she had cut off her entire thumb, I would have told her to go to the ER.) I asked if they had [this herb] on hand and he said “yes.” I told him how to use it and said I would come right over to help.

When I got there, she had used the herb as instructed and the bleeding had stopped in just a few seconds. I looked at the wound, the chunk of skin that had been cut off and all the blood in the sink. She told me it happened while she was cutting corn off the cob for their dinner.

I took [another herb] out of my first aid kit and showed her how to apply it to the wound 2-3 times a day to prevent infection and accelerate healing. Over the next few weeks, she had to reapply the herbs a lot as she couldn't stop herself from picking at the scab! It would have healed faster if she had been able to resist, but even so, it healed up nicely and a few weeks later, it looked almost normal, except that the thumb looked a little flat on that side and she said the sensation in it wasn't quite normal. A few weeks after that, the thumb had filled out completely and had normal sensation. Today, when she holds her two thumbs up together, I can't tell the difference between them.

    *****************************************************************************

My mom had been working in her garden and got stung on the hand by a wasp. Wasps don't die when they sting like honey bees do and she got three stings by the same wasp, all within a square centimeter! I don't know if you've ever been stung by a wasp, but their venom is MUCH more painful than honey bee venom. She came into the house to find me (I was still living at home at the time). I got out [this herb] and put some on her stings. After a few seconds, she started relaxing and after about a minute, she said the pain was 85% gone. After a few more minutes, the pain was completely gone, and several hours later, there was still no inflammation and I could barely tell she had been stung!

    ****************************************************************************
I was eating lunch with a friend and she told me she had bad sinus issues and hadn't been able to breathe out of one side of her nose for six months (and the other side wasn't doing too well either). I told her about [this formula] that could clear her nasal passages quickly. She asked if she could get some from me and I happened to have some with me, so I gave it to her and told her how to use it. She went in the ladies room and emerged a few minutes later and came over to me with the happiest look on her face. I asked how it went. She closed one side of her nose and breathed clearly through the open nostril, then switched sides and did the same thing again! Six months and she cleared her nose in one dose! She was one happy camper!

    • Safe for:

    AromaticTopicalInternalOral Children

    Bergamot, Citrus Bergamia

    DESCRIPTION:

Bergamot is a citrus fruit that resembles a lime in color.  The rind of the fruit is pressed for its essential oil.  Many people use bergamot as a perfume, however, it is well known for its uplifting and antidepressant properties making this a perfect oil to diffuse in your home, or drop behind your ears and on your wrists for a pleasant aroma experienced throughout the day.  This product is available in a 15 mL amber glass Euro bottle.

All Wellness Warrior essential oils are organic.

    COMMON USES:

Bergamot is commonly used as a perfume and blends well with other oils.  Bergamot is considered a "top note" for blending purposes.  Bergamot essential oil improves blood circulation, decreases depression and sadness, and stimulates hormonal secretions, helping to maintain proper metabolic rates.  Bergamot aids in digestion, prevents infections, reduces pain, relieves spasms, speeds wound healing, is relaxing, used as a deodorant, and helps to reduce fevers.  An uncommon, but effective property of bergamot is it's ability to kill worms, therefore making bergamot an oil to consider if parasites are an issue.  New research shows bergamot may have respiratory and digestive benefits not previously studied.  Some of the research shows bergamot as an effective essential oil eliminating the formation of gallstones and is protective against bronchitis, colic, diphtheria, and halitosis.  This is an excellent oil to consider for international travel.

    PROPERTIES:

Analgesic, antibiotic, antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antianxiety, cicatrizant (promotes tissue healing through scar formation), deodorant, digestive, disinfectant, febrifuge, sedative, tonic, vermifuge (destroys parasites), vulnerary,

Oral - Using your finger, apply oil directly to the area of concern in the mouth.

Children – Safe for children over the age of six with proper dilution.

    CAUTION:

Bergamot essential oil contains a constituent called bergaptene.  It is important to note, that some people respond to this constituent with more sensitivity than others, so the general rule is to avoid direct sunlight exposure for up to 12 hours after bergamot is applied to your skin topically.  There is some research showing if taking bergamot internally, direct exposure to the sun within 12 hours could cause phytotoxicity and a "sunburn" like effect on the skin.

      • Eucalyptus radiata
        Quick shop

        Safe for:

        AromaticTopical Internal (!)  Oral Children

        Eucalyptus radiata (Eucalyptus radiata)

        DESCRIPTION:

Eucalyptus radiata is an essential oil native to Australia.  It has a fresh, crisp, aroma with soft woody undertones and hints of citrus and florals, and is slightly smoother than E. globulus.  Commonly used for respiratory complaints, including wheezing and asthma, eucalyptus radiata is an excellent choice for diffusing in your home or applying topically to the chest.  This product is favored especially for children over E. globulus.  This product is available in a 15 mL amber glass Euro bottle.

All Wellness Warrior essential oils are organic.

        COMMON USES:

Acne, arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, burns, bacterial dysentery, cancer, catarrh, colds, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), coughing, diabetes, fever, flu, gallbladder problems, infection, joint pain such as rheumatism, liver problems, loosen coughs, loss of appetite, mental focus, osteoarthritis, poor circulation, poorly healing ulcers, pulmonary tuberculosis, respiratory tract infections such as whooping cough, ringworm, sinusitis (pain and inflammation of the respiratory tract, mucous membranes, and respiratory infections), upset stomach, and arming to the body, and wounds.

        PROPERTIES:

Analgesic, antibacterial, antidiabetic, antifungal, antineuralgic, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, decongestant, deodorant, depurative, diuretic, expectorant, febrifuge, and stimulant.

        HOW TO USE:

Aromatic – Add 3-4 drops of oil to distilled water and diffuse; inhale directly by cupping your hands around an open bottle and breath in deeply through your nose.  Eucalyptus' expectorant properties loosen coughs.  Its antiseptic properties are used to reduce fever and can be vaporized in water to achieve this result.

Topical – Directly apply 1-3 drops of oil to the area of concern or to reflex points (dilute using a carrier oil).  Eucalyptus oil should not be taken by mouth or applied to the skin in its full strength.  Diluted eucalyptus essential oil can be applied directly to the skin for pain and swelling of respiratory tract mucous membranes (rub on chest), genital herpes, joint pain and nasal stuffiness.  Eucalyptus is used as an insect repellent - some research shows that applying a specific spray containing a combination of eucalyptus and lemon extract to the skin lowers the number of tick bites by about 30% in people living in tick-infested areas.

Internal (!) – Eucalyptus radiata is safer than E. globulus, however, it is still cautioned that the internal use of this oil is only done under the direction of a qualified healthcare provider skilled in the proper internal use of essential oils.  If possible, avoid using all Eucalyptus varieties internally.  A tea of the Eucalyptus leaves is safer than using the oil internally.

Oral  In dentistry, eucalyptus essential oil is included in products used as sealers and solvents for root canal fillings.  Apply with a cotton applicator.

Children – Likely safe for children with proper dilution.

        CAUTION:

For people with sensitive skin, Wellness Warrior suggests diluting essential oils with a vegetable-based carrier oil, such as raw coconut or jojoba oil.

Skin reactions: Eucalyptus oil is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when applied directly to the skin without first being diluted.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Eucalyptus HERB is LIKELY SAFE for pregnant and breastfeeding women when consumed in food amounts. But don’t use eucalyptus essential oil while pregnant or breastfeeding as there is not enough information known about safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
